Joining and participating in Challenges

My strava workouts are not syncing

Strava workouts are synced to Goals.Fit automatically within 5 minutes of you successfully posting the workout on Strava.

First, please check if your workouts are correctly syncing -

  1. open Goals.Fit app

  2. tap on bell icon in the top right corner

  3. the notification here should mention your latest strava workout

If it is not, please follow the procedure below -

Make sure you are currently logged in to Goals.Fit app

  1. Visit your Profile - tap bottom right most icon and login if asked

  2. Tap Edit Profile button next to your name

  3. Scroll down - tap the Strava button next to Currently Connected

  4. This should open your Strava profile

  5. If the correct strava profile does not show

    1. open your default mobile browser and browse to strava.com

    2. login to your correct strava account

    3. back in Goals.Fit Edit Profile section - tap the Reconnect Strava button

    4. authorise Goals.Fit to access your data

    5. when you tap Currently Connected button in Edit Profile, your correct strava profile should be shown

If you have confirmed that the above are all ok, please check if your Strava workouts are marked with the correct Privacy setting.

Goals.Fit can see your workouts only if the privacy of your Strava workouts is PUBLIC (no other privacy setting will work) - please check and update your workouts as Public using this procedure - link.

If all the above steps did not help you, please write to us - support@goals.fit and we will help you.

I am not able to see the challenge i joined

  1. I joined a challenge after making an online payment for joining a challenge and logged in to Goals.Fit but do not see the challenge.

Please make sure that the strava login and email address you use during registration and when logging in to Goals.Fit are the same. Both have to be same - if you use a different email address then we cannot connect your earlier registration.

To check which email address,

  1. I have never used Goals.Fit or joined a challenge before (including via web links) -

    • Download Goals.Fit mobile app (link)

    • Login with the same email address + strava account you used during registration for the challenge

    • Please note that email+strava should be same or else you will not see the correct challenges

I use google/apple/facebook login for strava and am not able to connect Goals.Fit with this method

Logging into Strava on Goals.Fit with google/apple/facebook login will not work directly. You will need to enable email based authentication on strava and then use this for connecting your strava account to Goals.Fit.

One of my strava workouts is not showing in the eligible workouts of my challenges

Strava workouts are automatically synced to Goals.Fit - based on the activity type you select on Strava and the conditions specified in a challenge, these workouts will be considered eligible for the challenge.

If your workout is not showing in the tracker on Goals.Fit -

  1. Please check in Strava if the activity type used in the workout is matching the challenge condition (for cycling related only ride/virtualride types are eligible, for running only walk/run/virtualrun/virtualwalk are eligible, for walking only walk/virtualwalk are eligible). Any workout not matching the challenge type will not be considered eligible.

  2. Check if your workout matches all challenge conditions

  3. If both above are ok, please email us and send a link of the workout to support at goals dot fit.

I am not able to see my challenges

If you are an existing user logged into Goals.Fit

  1. make sure that you use the same email to register to the challenge as you have used on Goals.Fit (check in Edit Profile section)

  2. pull to refresh in home screen -> challenge should show in home screen

If you registered for a virtual race on Goals.Fit for the first time (including via web links) -

  1. Download Goals.Fit mobile app (link)

  2. Login with the same email address + strava account you used during registration for the challenge

  3. Please note that email+strava should be same or else you will not see the correct challenges

I paid the registration fee but am not seeing the challenge listed in Goals.Fit

  1. Logout of Goals.Fit mobile app (top left menu icon - bottom most option)

  2. Login back with the same email address + strava account you used during registration for the challenge

  3. Please note that email+strava should be same or else you will not see the correct challenges

Where can i see my progress and rank on the challenge i joined?

  • Download the Goals.Fit mobile app from the app store (android/iphone) - link

  • Login with the same email address + strava account you used during registration for the challenge

How can i reconnect/change my strava account linked in Goals.Fit?

Please follow the procedure below -

    1. Make sure you are currently logged in to Goals.Fit app

    2. open your default mobile browser and browse to strava.com

    3. login to your correct strava account

    4. back in Goals.Fit Edit Profile section - tap the Reconnect Strava button

    5. authorise Goals.Fit to access your data

Organizing Challenges on Goals.Fit

How can I organize a Virtual Challenge/Race on Goals.Fit?

You can create a new challenge for free from the Goals.Fit mobile app

  • Download from - http://onelink.to/goalsfit

  • Sign up as a new user - use Google Fit/Strava login for quick login, else you can use email sign up too

  • If you used email sign up, please click the confirmation link sent to your email

  • Login to Goals.Fit

  • Tap the top left menu icon and select Host Challenge option

  • Enter the conditions of the Challenge such as start, end, last date for registration dates, challenge type

  • Complete by tapping the 'Create Challenge' button

  • Your virtual challenge is ready!

  • After creating you'll be shown a link which you can now share with anyone. The limit of participants for this free challenge will be 15 (write to sales@goals.fit to increase the limit)

  • Any body who wants to join the challenge will need to install goals.fit, login and then click the link you shared. This will open the challenge directly and show the details you entered earlier. They can tap the join button and done.

  • Ranks are updated every five minutes, so if a participant posts a public strava workout then they can see this listed on the challenge ranking details within five minutes.

Please note that the upper limit of participants for free challenges on Goals.Fit is 15. If you would like to increase the participation limit for your challenge or organize a challenge with an entry fee, please email us - sales@goals.fit for more information.
